Elon Musk announced on Twitter that the Starship spacecraft would be ready for a space flight in the coming weeks.

One of the users sarcastically asked whether the spacecraft will be ready in real-time two weeks or Elon-time two weeks. In response to this, the entrepreneur assured that he meant real weeks.

The crewed version of the spacecraft will be capable of carrying up to 100 people on board. Elon Musk expects Starship to be able to land humans on Mars in 2026.

At the same time, Elon Musk noted that Starship could land astronauts on the Moon even before 2024. That is, before NASA's Artemis program, which planned to land American astronauts on our planet's satellite in 2024. However, even if the Starship is ready before, NASA will still postpone the space flight because of the issues with spacesuits.

NASA Postponed Flight to the Moon Due to Spacesuit Issues
Due to funding reduction and technical difficulties, the space agency will not have enough time to develop spacesuits for astronauts by 2024. It is now predicted that the suits will not be ready until April 2025 at the earliest.
